Previewing¶

What does the preview first menu item do?

• It loads the message into a compose window in Outlook merging in the values and e-mail address of the first recipient selected

Why does it show only the first recipient?

• This is just to ensure that your merge mappings are set up correctly and that you can verify that the e-mail is going to look the way you want to each person

Can I send from the preview?

• You can click send but it will only send to the person that is in the to box and not to any other recipients you may have selected in Mass Mailer
• This is because you are previewing an actual compose screen in Outlook.
• The preview is not part of Mass Mailer but rather the information is passed to outlook and Outlook then does it thing
